WASTE TO ENERGY

ADVANTAGES OF WASTE TO ENERGY PLANTS

In a world where the production of household waste and industrial and commercial waste threatenscan cause long term damage to the environment, converting the waste our society produces to the energy which has become an integral part of every economy and lives of the world population, water to energy is a solution as a fuel for power plants. Solargy offers its services as an aggregator of the technology which enables municipalities and countries to provide reliable power source on a 24 hour basis.

The process flow for a waste to energy plant is quite simple. Waste is inputted into the system, and after sorting is incinerated to generate the steam needed to power the generators and ultimately to generate electricity.

Biomass Plants function in basically the same manner. Organic matter is used to generate synthetic fuels which are then used to fuel the generators or alternatively the fuel can be sold.

Solargy offers a waste to synfuel plant which can produce 8,000,000 gallons of synthetic fuel annually.Solargy Systems Inc. acts as a systems integrator for waste to energy plants. We can design a WTE solution and then using fabricated components deliver a facility in 12 months producing electricity from 5 MW for 250 tons per day up to 30 MW for 1500 tons per day plant.

Waste to Energy technology solves two pressing issues for 21st century:
What to do about the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and how to generate power for the ever increasing demands of its population.

Waste energy addresses this problem very neatly. It uses waste to generate power as is illustrated by the diagram. Waste is incinerated and the steam produced is used to generate steam and the steam is used to power generators which produce power. The power produced is then sold to the grid.

Alternatively the organic matter in municipal waste can be used to produce synthetic fuels which can be sold or used to power generators which produce power which can be sold to the national grid.
